New Patients
At North Devon Footcare, your patient journey with us starts as soon as you book your first appointment. We will email you across some patient information forms which include a short questionnaire about the reason why you are coming to see us and your medical history. This can save time in your appointment which means we can give more time to treating you. It also means that we can be prepared for why you are coming to see us.
Your emails will also have directions to our clinic and give you the time and date of your appointment.
If you don’t have an email, not to worry as we can go through the forms with you at the start of the appointment.
Please don’t arrive more than ten minutes early for your appointment. When you arrive, come into the building via the main door and there is a waiting area with seating for you to wait. We currently don’t have an on site receptionist so just take a seat and your Podiatrist will be with you as soon as they are ready.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is there parking on site?
Yes, we have 4 spaces right outside the clinic where it is free to park. Although unlikely, If these are taken there is plenty of other free parking on the Chivenor Business park which is in flat and comfortable walking distance of the clinic.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards, cash and Cheques. We are happy to email you a paid invoice after the appointment.
What insurance do you accept?
We do not deal directly with insurance companies ourselves. We ask that you pay for your appointments and treatments at the time and we can provide a paid invoice to you to send to your insurance company as remittance. It is probably best to contact your insurance company before booking an appointment to confirm that they would be happy to pay for your treatment.
What is your cancellation policy?
If you know you cannot make your appointment for whatever reason we ask that you contact us ASAP to let us know. We can also then rearrange your appointment to get you in at an appropriate time. If you cancel your appointment more than 24 hours before then this will be free of charge. If you cancel your appointment less than 24 hours before the appointment time then we may charge you the cost of the appointment, we understand that emergencies and illness can occur and do not do this often but if we have repeat offenders then we will enforce this policy due to loss of money to the business. The same happens for a patient that does not attend their scheduled appointments.
