Orthotics (Custom and modified off the shelf)
Orthotics are a treatment option that we can provide if indicated after an in depth analysis in our biomechanical assessment. Orthotics are very individual in terms of a treatment option, they are not always required but when they are we will explain why they think they are required and how they will assist in your treatment plan.
It is a common misconception that orthotics are used to “align” and treat posture problems. Orthotics are used more to take stress off certain structures of the foot and lower limb that are causing pain and injury to allow them to work less and let them recover.
